Who Are We:
iTrackr, Incorporated was formed in May, 2006 to develop, market and commercialize a product and inventory search application through a social networking site designed to leverage the best of Internet and Mobile technologies. We have taken the best of several burgeoning markets, including eCommerce, social networking and mobile content, and developed what we believe is a powerful and unique platform that drives value to consumers, retailers, advertising and marketing firms.
What We Do:
iTrackr is combining Internet Retailing and Mobile Social Merchandizing in new and unique ways. Social merchandizing applies a variety of traditional marketing practices to promote products and services to a community of individuals via social networking technologies. In some aspects, iTrackr is similar to MySpace and Facebook; however, our members’ interests are not in diary or event blogging, but in the timely location of products and services which can be acquired and consumed on a local level. In pursuit of those products, our members engage in 'guerrilla retailing'. They use the power of Social Merchandising and discussion groups to notify each other of where 'hard to find' product is located in retail stores at the best price.
The Advantage:
iTrackr enables consumers to search and track merchandise. iTrackr allows the consumer to find which retail locations in a local zip code are stocking queried merchandise, as well as comparative prices. In addition, if the item is not in stock, the consumer can request that iTrackr notify them via mobile text message or email when the item is delivered to a local retailer and where that retailer is located.
In an increasingly mobile and on-the-go marketplace, with iTrackr, consumers no longer have to go from store-to-store in search of products. With pinpoint accuracy, they can locate the closest store in a timely fashion and be certain that the product they are seeking is available and on the shelf.
